It normally takes me a month or less to read a book. This book took me a couple of months.

I'm a writer and prefer a very readable style. While I enjoyed learning about his past, who he is and how he works, I found the style of writing very cumbersome--"wordy."

My husband did as well and after a page or two said "I know what you mean," and didn't pick it back up.

Insightful, yes. Easy read, no.
