This book was really a regurgitation of Carole's own words about 10 of the principles that she used in her life. They were common sense and didn't really show much about her thought processes except to show that Carole was a fair-minded individual who believed in taking responsibility for her actions. She's also the only movie star I've ever heard of who did not object to paying taxes.

The story of Carole covered the highs and lows of her performances, a few paragraphs about her two marriages, and a few wrap-up paragraphs. There just wasn't much there.
