East Midlans farmer, Bernard Bailey is a violent man with a brutal temper. He is to inherit ahefty fortune if he can father a male child. He has destroyed one wife to achieve this end and then turns the 2nd marriage into a twisted business arrangement. If the new wife produces a son, she will be paid handsomely. After receiving death threats, Bailey has a state of the art security system installed on his farm. But this does not deter a murderer, who leaves his bloody corpse on his secluded farm. Who stands to gain from his death, and why wasn't the monster killed sooner?
