I strongly dislike doctors because I believe they treat symptoms rather than causes. Dr. Legato's book shows that she has a deeper understanding of disease, and explains precisely which ingredients in which products act on particular neurotransmitters, etc. In this book, she answers a broad range of "questions" about health issues as they relate to women, in a straightforward, no-nonsense kind of way. Despite being very well read on health topics, I learned several things from this book. Recommended.
