To sum up this book I would have to say it was okay to read once. I laughed out loud in a couple of spots and was very intrigued by the revolution. If judging on that alone i would give the book five stars. However the flashback to Raul meeting his father and his family was all to brief. When the book is flashed forward Raul is full af love and affection for his half sisters. For me it felt flat, contrived, and too much of a leap of faith. Most disturbing of all is his seduction of Victoria. He uses sexual teasing and torture to get her to give in to his advances, all the while ignoring her protests.
In summary I give the revolution and intrigue five stars, the all of the sudden loving relationship with everybody but his father and seduction by torture, while not listening to the females proclamations of no, I give half a star. Final tally two and a half stars. Not sure I want to read one of her books again.
