Clouds fill every corner of my mind.
Darkness covers me like a thick blanket
And I cannot see.

My thoughts turn cold--cold like the winter.
Cole like the inside of a freezer
And I cannot feel.

Chaos fills my ears, so full of noise.
Loud, like a thousand horns blowing
And I cannot hear.

I was drowning in the swirling darkness,
In the cold I was freezing.
And then you came.

You filled my life with warm, bright sunshine.
You brought a peace to overcome the noise
And I am loved.

That how it is with depression. and coming out of it. My husband believed in me and stood by me. The Lord was with me the whole time. I like the poem. L

Thanks L. I'm still struggling with it, but my fiance has always been there for me.

yes, like dark then light, night then day, black then white, no hope then new hope, bleak then bliss, life without Him then life with Him!!!
