Somewhere deep inside the innermost being of me
there is an emptiness,
an emptiness so very hard to fill
an emptiness that only you can fill
with your presence
your laughter
your smile
an emptiness that longs for
your touch
your voice
and your embrace
I am not whole
for when we meet again
your love will fill
the emptiness of my soul
we will entwine as one
and I shall be whole

Beautifully expressed. I've often felt the same.
