My package came today; it was too heavy to lift
so it stayed at the door and I felt adrift
pacing back and forth, wanting it opened and out
having to wait for a man's muscular clout
and now it's raining fast and hard
no chance the innards are not marred
Oh, this is hard, this is cheap
what we sow, is what we reap

I'd get it out of the elements one way or another no man's strengh will render me pulled asunder my will shall bring me a way, a path to salvage my delivery, my gift, my plunder be it the young ones next door oe a stranger, possibly the surge of my anger I will not allow any prospect of defeat to lead me to wrath the way to success must come to pass

Thanks Deborah, you made me laugh out loud. Normally I am with you on that, but sadly no one around at all and the thing weighed at least a 100 lbs and is breakable. Having no other avenue, I wrote a poem. :D :D And actually, it turned out better than I thought, it is not ruined after all.
