A friend is like a butterfly
A beauty to behold
Every person wants and needs one
The desire comes from the soul

Most start as a caterpillar
Slow , fuzzy and tough
But with understanding and a little patience
Can grow with all the right stuff

Friends are like butterflies, each different and special
Not ours alone but shared with all
The joy they give can lift a sprit, make us laugh,
Calm or fears or make us Squall.

Cherish all that you have and love every one
For like the butterfly, friendship is tender
Try to give as much as you receive
Be not just a receiver, but also a sender.
