I long for a heart that is as easily forgiven
as it forgives ceaselessly.
I long for the days of simplicity
as all of my hours merge into complexity.
I long for the fall
as the summer continues to blister on.
I long for the beauty of nature
as the urban wild relentlessly encroaches upon me.
I long for completion of my goals
as I tediously check off each minute step of said goals.
I long for a life filled with complete happiness
as I begin to understand that this is impossible.

Hi buddhamae, I like this a lot. "I long for the days of simplicity / As all of my hours merge into complexity" that sure sounds like my life!
