It was a black Tuesday, morning
While, the world watched the tube, in horror

We stand empty and in a state of shock
The sight of jet planes, flying into the Pentagon and World Trade Center towers

Then seeing, the building burst into flames and come crashing down, at “Ground Zero”
We cannot help but wish, we knew the entire hero’s

The life’s that were lost from the emergency departments, now stacked with pictures and flowers
As the time stopped, like not having power to our clocks

We are now, trying to band together, against what we call, terrorism of war
America’s nightmare, we will be forever in mourning

Not as great as your others, but not entirely boring. No offense meant.
