I was at the post office yesterday with about 40 packages to mail (between pbs, sadvd, & ebay i got a lot of requests and didn't want to make a million trips)  I waited in line like everyone else, even let someone with only one package go ahead of me.  Only 1 of 3 registers was open.  The clerk ringing me up was very nice but also efficient and there weren't any unnecessary delays.  As I'm ringing up, the clerk at the next register says that I can't mail so many packages, that I will be cut off and only allowed to mail up to 10 if I keep bringing so many because people behind me have to mail their things too.  I'm like wth? I waited in line.  The people behind me came in after I started ringing up.  I have to get stuff out before christmas too, just like everyone else.  Obviously things get busy this time of year, grocery stores, shopping malls etc.  But even if you have a crap load of stuff, when you wait in a long line and it;s finallly your turn, they don't say "sorry you can only buy X amount of stuff".  Sorry about the vent but it's frustrating, and I kinda feel like it happened because i look really young.  I'm 22 but get mistaken for 16 and have been brushed aside like this before.  Or is there actually a rule about the number of items you can mail?
