(OK - never mind - I guess it just took the system a little bit to 'catch up' and process the multiple-book orders --- I just now saw the extra credits show up, so all is good!)
I just mailed out a bunch of books --- two packages contained multiple books going to the same person. I used PBS printed postage & DC, so I got instant credit once they were mailed. On the multiple book packages, I received 1 credit for the entire package --- will I get the additional credits once the other member has received the books & marks them received? Or am I out of luck because I mailed the books in one package? This is my first time using the PBS postage on multi-book packages... I'd hate to think that I lost the extra credits, it would have been worth it to pay add'l postage to mail them each in a seperate wrapper if that was the only way to get credit for them. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but as I said, it's my first time running into this. Last Edited on: 5/2/08 1:01 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

When it puts them on seperate labels like that and you use the quick credit or DC-it only gives you the instant credit for the book that you printed the label/DC. You'll get the credits for the others when they are marked received It only does a bulk label when the requestor orders the books all at once using the Order More From Member button before finalizing the order. If they make the request or accept a WL book and go back later to add more then it puts them on seperate labels. |

These were all on the same label, requested all together. That's what threw me a curve - if they had been seperate labels & I had "combined" them myself, I could understand it working like you said. But they were one single label covering multiple books ordered at the same time. But it's all OK now - for whatever reason, the extra credits didn't show up right away, but appeared about 5-10 minutes later. Thanks for your response! |
