Wow; so hard to come up with just 10 after a lifetime of reading!  I just went over my BIR list, which I add to as I come across books on PBS that I've read.  So this is only a partial list, but the best I can do at a moment's notice!

Jane Eyre-Charlotte Bronte

Pride and Prejudice-Jane Austen

Inklings-Melanie Jeschke

Exodus-Leon Uris

The Giver-Lois Lowry

The Hobbit-J.R.R. Tolkien

Space Trilogy-C.S. Lewis

Pilgrim's Progress-John Bunyan

Traveling Light-Max Lucado

Lester reminded me-all of James Herriot's books!
