One of the better additions to the "Women's Murder Club". In addition to being assigned to two cases...one involving decapitated heads and their missing bodies, the other, the murders, execution style, of notorious drug dealers, Lindsey is pregnant. It is believed that the killer of the drug lords is a rogue cop. And her old friend and now boss, Jacobi is a prime suspect..
Out of Lindsey's husband's Joe's past, (or is it the present as well) comes an old lover, claiming that they are still an item ...... Unflattering and mainly untrue and distorted stories hit the newspaper......Hope the next in the series is as good as the "11th Hour"

Very fast paced story where Boxer and her team have to solve two front-page worthy serial murders plus deal with everyday life problems.

Definitely don't read this if you have never read any books in the series. A lot of Boxer's scenes are written in first person but her name is rarely mentioned. So if you have never read the series, you might get a little lost.

The only thing about these later books are that the characters are a little flat (think Patterson just expects you have already fallen in love with them from the previous books) so their "emotional" scenes doesn't reach very deep.

Still a page turner.

A good addition to the Murder Club series.

Patterson is back to his great writing style of mystery, suspense, maybe not a thriller but yet it is a good one and can be read in one day it goes by so quickly.
