When I look at my wishlist it says that I have 198 on it. When I try to add another book, it says that I already have 200 on it. What's up with that?

Usually, this discrepancy shows up when your books are sorted by author.  Some books are listed without authors, and if they are on your WishList, you wouldn't see them in a list sorted by author, although they -are- actually on your WishList.  Try changing the sorting method, and you should see all 200 of your books show up...

ETA:  From the Help Center:

If you get the message that a book cannot be added to your Wish List when you click to add it to Wish List, that means you have reached the limit of 200 items on your Wish List.

• If you look at your Wish List and see less than 200 items on there, then please re-sort your Wish List by title or Date added. 

• The Date Added or Title sorts will show the true number of items on your Wish List
• The Author sort will "hide" those items that don't have authors listed for that ISBN in the database.

You can supply author names where they are missing using the Edit Book Data link at the bottom of any page on the site.   For full instructions on how to do this, please read If the information on a book listing in the database is incorrect...

I've noticed that this has happend to me once when I had a couple books on "hold" on my Wish List as well.  I really did have 200, but only 196 were showing up because I had 4 on hold. 

I have 16 on hold. No matter how I change the sort, the most it says is 198. Sorted by author it has 185. I usually have it sorted by position.

Shelly, I looked at your WL (the wish list button under your name in the forum) and it says you have 184 books.  If 16 books are on hold, that adds up to 200...

I'd recommend looking very closely for duplicates.  I know a solution has been posted before, but I'm not sure what it is and how to get rid of the extras.

Thanks Britney! When I sort it by title and look, I can see that I have it on my wishlist 3 times. All the same isbn. Yipes! I will do a search and see if I can find how to fix this.  

I put a book on my WL once when I had 199 on the list.  When it showed up, the wl had me at 201 because the last book added it added it twice.  I wrote to the PBS team to get it straightened out.

I've seen that glitch happen to people a few times. I have always recommended contacting the Team to remove the extras just to be safe and not lose all 3. Someone did report in the forums that they were able to remove the duplicates on their own and it worked fine.

I couldn't find how to remove the extras so I just sent a message to TPTB. I'm number 3 of 5 and hate to lose my place. The quilt books aren't posted very often.

Yeah! I'm up to 200! TPTB took care of me and I promptly added 2 more books to my wishlist.
