I recently got offered the same book with the same ISBN from my WL. I have accepted one but am worried that if it times out, I'll lose my place as first in line.

Should I accept both and just resend the 2nd book after it arrives or take my chances? I still have 1 day left on the second WL offer before it times out.

I just recieved a second copy of a wish list book I got over two weeks ago..................................not sure why. The first was mailed on time...I marked it recieved. All went fine.

I have no other indication of a second copy coming to me in my transaction archive....and nothing coming from that sender/state (incase the wrong book got sent when they were packing up books to ship)

And this is a book that has 21 WISHERS WAITING FOR IT!!!  I am going to post the extra copy and quickly read the first one so that others may enjoy them!

   Very confusing!

Click on the PM buttons for both offers, if you see that the offers were from the same person, it means the book double posted itself. If they're from the same person, you should accept both offers. Then that sender can just click I Cannot Mail on one of them and everything will be fine.

If the offers are from different people, it's o.k. to decline one. That just means that you double wished for the book. It happens sometimes that the same book gets added to the wish list more than once, just like it happens that a book gets double posted. Usually people notice the double adds earlier because it means they can't get their wish lists up to 200 books, but if you got it added twice in succession and then two copies were posted around the same time, they'd both be offered to you.

Thanks, Cathy, that must be what happened.

I actually just had the exact same thing happen to me - and I checked the PM buttons and the offer was from 2 different people.  Very strange.  But I accepted the first one and cancelled the second, so I hope it works out.
