Imagine finding at an ATM machine that you have an extra million that just might be a bonus from your boss only to discover that it really belongs to the mob. Then imagine running away to Almost Arizona into the clutches of the sheriff. Unlikely story but a heck of a romp.

Another fun read by Christina Skye! A high powered PR exec finds a cool million in her bank account, after her boss had promised her a hefty bonus. Hmm, What to do? After she does just that, she finds out that it wasn't all her money to spend. Her big brother does his best and sends her off to next to nowhere, Arizona under the watchful eye of a trusted friend. Throw in a little Native American myth, and the plot thickens as the heat rises and the sun beats down....

Christina Skye is a great romance writer and I usually don't read romances, but this was a great read. There are plenty of stomach fluttering butterfly moments in this book as you watch the main character and the love interest butt heads and somehow always manage to find themselves with lots of sexual tension between them.

Book was very nicely done. City girl hides in small Arizona town and falls in love with not only the sheriff, but the whole town. Since I live in Arizona, I really enjoyed reading a lot of the history of the old ways.

Ever wonder what you'd do with a million dollars? Well Tess finds out when a strange deposit appears and the bad guys start chasing her to get it back. Her brother (a government agent) sends her to Almost Arizona where his buddy Sheriff McCall puts her into protective custody. Some paranormal activity happens too when Tess starts remembering a past life in the nearby Cliff Dwellings.

I really liked this story. I liked this book the most of the ones I have read by this author.
I enjoyed the romance between the fast track Boston PR female and the small town sheriff, but the mysterious Native American flashes of history were distracting for me and didn't seem to fully resolve or get explained. A good but not great read for me.
no biggie.
Cute, but dated. Remember the Y2K scare? This book is a fun read from the premise that 1/1/2000 did have a few gliches and it affected one girl's life.
Great first story in a series by Christina Skye!
One of Christina Skye's best contemporary romances. Tess O'Mara runs to the safety of a sheriff named T.J. McCall when she realizes that a Y2K computer glinch deposited 1 millions into her bank account and she fears that the people will be looking for their money and they won't stop until they recieve it. This book is a fast-paced read with real-life characters. I read this book in a day!
