Not really a question, but  a follow-up...I wondered what would happen if I had a WL offer, then refilled my list to 200, and then the offer was cancelled for whatever reason.

Today I had 201 books on my WL, in a scenario I had not envisioned: Yesterday in the mail I received a book I had been waiting for - A collection called The Secret History of Vampires, which is part of the DAW series - and when I went to mark it received, I realized it was not in the 'enroute to me' section, but in the 'books I've requested' tab.  It had obviously been mailed promptly, and gotten to me before the deadline had run out for her to mail.

I quickly shot off a PM saying she must have forgotten to mark it, but heard nothing, and the request timed out overnight.  This morning there were 201 books on my WL.  Cool, but only until I went it and deleted it.  The book I received was in almost new condition, and had been shipped promptly, so I did choose to mark it received from my transaction archive and send a credit.

(I've read about 1/3 of the book already...pretty good if you like vampire stories)

Yup, you can get over 200 in those cases and you did the right thing by marking it received - if you do not receive a second copy of the book, you are required to mark it received.  Glad you got a good copy and you are enjoying it.

I've been up to 205 or so at times.  This also happens if your wishlist is at 200 or higher, you request a book and the sender cancels and there are no other copies available - it gets put on your wishlist.

Doesn't that give you a feeling of entitlement?  I love it - makes up for not getting the book I ordered.  I'm just kidding - but it is a funny thing to have happen.

Wow!  205...I've only hit 201 once or twice.  It is a wonderful feeling.
