There is a good range of patterns in here, many for beginners and intermediate and a few for the experienced stitcher. Some of them are quick to make and don't use much yarn, so are great for gifts. The children's items are especially cute and there are quite a few toys to please any collector, child or adult. There is a pattern for mittens which is one of the best that I've seen, and the handkerchief edging has tons of uses. There are quite a few patterns in here that I immediately put on my to-do list and I couldn't resist making the Jacob's ladder cowl...I learned something new, and had a great time doing it!
