In honor of their new website, Tor.com is offering Free downloads of 24 Sci-fi books in Pdf, Html, html-zipped and Mobipocket formats. (and also a number of desktop wallpapers)

It is only "available... through Sunday, July 27" so if you like science fiction you might as well download them now, and read them at your liesure.

The rest of the site is worth checking out, too.
