It's only been on my WL since January 2009, lol. I thought it was going get here in time to be a Christmas present for me after all these years. Oh well, I'll just keep waiting.

Wrapper was printed and there was one PO notice that indicated that mailing data was received, but that's all. Maybe it will turn up, you never know...anyway, it may be quite a while before another copy is posted I imagine, so no worries about getting two copies!

frown Sorry, Linda!

If the DC info was "Electronic Shipping Info Received", that just means that the wrapper was printed.

If they didn't use PBS postage I think that's all you'll ever see here but if there's a DC number you can take it to the p.o. site directly and see if it was ever scanned in. Not that that really helps anything.

What Patty said - the first indicator just means that they printed the label and used DC.  When it's scanned by the PO it will say 'Acceptance' and the name of the city.  Now if it was just dropped in the box and not taken to the PO, it's quite possible that during this busy season, no one scanned it and it just went out.  Hopefully it will get scanned somewhere along the line.  I have received books where the only scan that showed up was the first one.  Good luck.  I just received a book that's been on my WL since 2008 and I was the first one for it the whole time, so there is hope.  Pat

I have a hunch it wasn't mailed, maybe accidentally, since why would they set up DC if they didn't plan to send it? Maybe a mistake, got lost or misplaced, but who knows. If it turns up, great. Member has books posted as far back as 2010, so not so new that they would be posting the first ten for free credits.

I've had a few that shows wrapper printed and electronic info shipping received. 2 have gone "lost in mail" by system and so far not shown up. Could be they were shipped media mail and usps set them aside for holiday rush, or maybe sender set aside and forgot to send them, not sure what is up. I didn't  bother sending PM to either member. This time of year, a lot of packages take longer so hopefully that's all it is here, guess we'll find out soon.

Yes, "Electronic Shipping Info Received" merely means the system generated and assigned a DC number.  No indication of actual mailing.  The book may be hung up in heavy holiday mail (remember media mail travels on a 'space available' basis).  The sender may also have gotten busy with holiday events and mailed late or forgotten.  The book could still arrive...it's possible  surprise

Every once in a while my books don't get scanned until delivered as that is all that is required. Sometimes the books have been scanned but the information doesn't get transmitted to PBS then suddenly it is all there. I think it is just a glitch.

Hopefully the books arrives to you soon.

Some of my books weren't scanned until they were well on the way. Also if this was media mail, it may be delayed because of the holiday mailings. I sent cards last week and they were mailed to another state but only 20 mins away from my house.  They still haven't arrived!
