What the heck?!

I have 3 Richard Scarry books:

Humperdink's Busy Day

Sergeant Murphy's Busy Day

The Firefighter's Busy Day

All have ISBN 1891632051.

If you search by that ISBN, it pulls up Mother Cat's Busy Day.

If I search by one of the titles I have, it pulls up books with a different ISBN.

What the heck is going on? All I want to do is post these 3 books! LOL

I would guess that your ISBN was intended by the publisher to cover the entire Busy Day series as an "umbrella" number. "Mother Cat" seems to have gone into the PBS database as the "lucky winner" book that can be traded by ISBN#, while the rest must be posted without one.

Yep, you'll just have to post it without an ISBN.

Yup happens pretty often actually. Since the sites database of books is ISBN driven only one book with that ISBN can get a spot. The rest have to be posted as if they dont have an ISBN. If they are wishlisted you can go over to the Book Bazaar forum and find the WL books with other ISBNs thread and post in there that you have them.

I recently had the hardcover & paperback of the same title, as well as the omnibus of that book plus the next in the series. All 3 had the same ISBN. I don't know how the publishers think people are supposed to tell books apart by the numbers if they are all the same!

But, I did list 2 of them as if they had no ISBN on them. It's the only thing you can do here on PBS.
