Seems a bit suspicous but he's been a member here since 2006.  He just joined DVD today and posted the same ad.  I'd be weary of it myself, but I'm just overly cautious.

If someone has completed a successful transaction with Michael, please post so people know whether its safe to deal with him or not.

The big difference between this site and the DVD site is that Michael has been a member here for 4 years, but just joined the DVD site. I am not saying this is legit, I am just saying that the situation on the DVD site many not indicate anything bad. The Team would have pulled all posts from the various sites if he couldn't back the offer.

I would think if he was an active member here over the last 4 years...he would have more than one post here in this bazaar.  This was his first post.  I sent a question to TPTB just in case.

Michael is an honest member; credits are good.  I just completed a transaction with him and have the credits in my account.   And I know of other long time members who have never posted in the Book Bazaar.   yes

Just heard from TPTB and they said the credits I purchased from Michael ARE GOOD; that he got his credits by swapping CD's and books.  

ETA:  Please note that Michael's account is no longer suspended or closed.  yes

Please leave the detective work up to the Team so an innocent member doesn't get hurt by speculation. It is always nice to warn other members to be careful, but we should just let the Team know if we suspect problems and let them sort it out instead of trying to guess what's going on. Suspensions are often temporary and its done just to make sure the member contacts the Team and discusses the issue. 

Glad you got your credits Karen, enjoy spending them :-)

Good to know that his account isn't suspended here any longer.  Can't blame us for wanting to be careful though.  I wish him well with selling his other credits.  The offer is good one.

In case he forgets to make a notation, all of Michael's current credits have been sold.  

Guess it's time for all of us to move on . . .
