I still have too many books on my shelves since I first posted this offer yesterday, but luckily I am more than 120+ books down the road to clearing space! I'm ready to part with the rest of my 500+ books, especially when I know they are going to be read by others. I am simply trying to cover most of the postage on shipping these books. Most of my books have only been read once, gently, and I have children's books, multiple copies of some titles for classrooom use, and adult and teen novels.

If you are unsure of what to order for a particular elementary reader in your life, I can help you make some choices. Consider using this offer to help an elementary school teacher build her classroom library. I can also work on bigger deals and bigger boxes if you prefer.

I would like for you to order the book credits, so that I will have your address and can use delivery confirmation. I will send the extra titles at no cost to you.

Be sure to PM me and to post your request here as well.

What are the chances of getting a 5/1 deal?  After checking out your bookshelf I only found five that I really wanted.  Please let me know if this is ok with you.  If it is, then I'll place my order.

Thanks for considering it.

Dear Liz,

Thank you for your extremely generous offer. I'm a teacher who will teach second grade at an international school next year and I'm trying to build my classroom library. Many kids will benefit from your kindness!

I usually use a DPO address, but have indicated these to be sent to my pouch address which does not require any extra forms on your part. If, for some reason, the system indicates that you must do so please ignore.

I ordered 4 books for credits. Below are the 20 extra books I'd like. If I've missed someone else ordering one of these, please substitute as you see fit. (My own kids - 1st grade girl and 5th grade boy are also readers who enjoy reading, so other books may be appropriate.)

1. Cat Boy
2. The Chalk Box Kid
3. Cats & Kittens
4. Corrie's Secret Pals (Here Come the Brownies...)
5. Little Red Riding Hood: Fairy Tale
6. Marsha Makes Me Sick
7. Mermaids
8. The Mermaids' Ball
9. Party Time (Nibbles)
10. The Relatives Came
11. Rock Collecting (Let's Read and Find Out)
12. The Witch Who Was Afraid of Witches
13. Peter and the Starcathers
14. There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom
15. The Thief and the Beanstalk
16. The Trumpet of the Swan
17. White Fang
18. Animals: Ladybird First Facts About
19. Body Battles
20. Can Birds Get Lost? And Other Questions About Animals

Thank you again.

Thanks for helping me clean off my shelves, guys! I am mailing out more than 150 books within 3 days! Some of these are going overseas, and some are going 30 miles up the road from me. I love knowing that they are going to someone who has WANTED them --- requested them by name! This is so much better than dumping them at Good Will or a garage sale, where they may never be enjoyed.

I will have to halt the offer for now, since I am officially over my PBS budget for the SUMMER, and it's only July 7th! Keep checking back on my shelves, because I can't seem to stop myself from gathering wonderful books. As a librarian, I consider this trait a gift!

PS: Ask for a 2 for 1 any time, and I will always oblige!
