I started out the week with 3 credits and shipped 2 ( about avarage for me, I am in Awe of the people who manage to hae more than 10 credits at a time!!)  books.  Then I had an Avalanche of wishlisted books come through and ran out of credits and even with the 2 books shipped and now I have more WL books that have come through and NO credits! LOL!!! Its SOOOO frustrating!! Just wanted to sare the frustration....LOL!!!!

P.S. I'm NOT begging for credits, just sharing some of lifes jokes!

I hear you.  I was away from home for a month.  Do you have any idea how many wish-listed books suddenly become available when you turn off vacation hold after that long?!?!?!  LOL   I've been going through credits like crazy.

Oh I feel your pain, I have to use a heck of a lot of restraint right now to remember to keep a few credits handy if I get lucky enough for a wishlist item to pop up. It's not your fault- PBS is like an opium den for bookworms and I don't see how we can be expected to parse out credits and be patient with wonderful books left and right! ;)

I've gotten WL books AND I keep ordering off my Reminder list!  I keep saying I'm trying to build up credits so I can sell some, but I can't stop myself.  I read about 2 books a week on average and right now I have about a 6 month backlog on my TBR.  But I just can't step away from the computer!

I have a credit comfort level. When I hit it-I go on hold and only autorequest any oop/htf books that I'm in the top 5.  Then I read some WL books so I can post them and rebuild my credits. I have a huge TBR so I dont' have that urge to spend credits as soon as they come.

I always keep a stockpile of credits because I'd hate to be out when I get a run on WL books.

I'd be happy to loan you a few credits Heather, I know how it is when that WL book you've been waiting forever for comes around.

after i had to borrow credits a couple of times, i ended up hitting the library sales for WL books to post until i had a comfortable credit cushion.

then i discovered the $3/bag sales, and ended up padding my shelf with nice condition books i haven't read from authors that at least sounded familiar, and that's kept the orders coming in reasonably steadily.  my last several shelf requests were all bag sale books that i posted last June.
