I haven't ordered in a while now and my TBR is getting to about 10.  I'm mightly nervous.  I always have to have a good steady supply onhand to feel secure.

No... Because I don't think that would EVER happen here- not with my Mt. TBR! ;)

I wish I had that problem!  I buy and trade more books faster than I can read!

I dream of having my tbr pile that low!

My TBR pile is up to 170  and rising all the time  LOL.  And that is only what it shows on here. That doesn't count the whole bunch I have gotten at the thrift store  I would say the total is about 650

I haven't had less than 600 in years.  10 would freak the hell out of me.  I have too many now and am really cutting back on acquiring books.  Not because they are stressing me out but because the shelves are overflowing.

If my TBR ever gets below 100 - I'll let you know.

Yeah... I doubt I'll ever see the bottom of my TBR.  I have almost 200 books on shelves in my room waiting, I have around that many e-books on my Nook and my wish list here is maxed out.  lol

The first time in my life I've ever had a TBR pile is when I joined here. It only takes me about 1 to 2 hours to read an average romance novel for example (depending on whether or not I'm milking it,  I like to drag books I'm really enjoying out) and I read every day so considering the cost of books I couldn't afford em as fast I could read em before. And even now, my TBR is only about 10 high at the moment and I like it that way. Any more and I think I'd feel overwhelmed. The idea of having 600 books in my TBR pile would be really unbearably overwhelming for me, lol.

I have way more books than I can read, but I do get antsy when I go through my phases.  for example, I'm going through a historical phase, and though I have a huge TBR with lots of books, it has few historicals I haven't read.  This is, of course, why I have an insane amount of books.  By the time I restock the historicals I will no doubt be back on a paranormal kick.

Pick me up off the floor. TBR of 10? Wow, that will never happen to me, there are thousands (literally) in my TBR, if you count every book owned as one to be read.

I wish I *didn't* have so many books unread - it would be lovely to be caught up.

I don't think I'd be comfortable with only ten, because I do still like to read print books between ebooks. (And need them for the gym - my husband finds this bizarre, but I would much rather hold a paperback than use my ereader.)

Get an ereader and you'll never have to worry about this again.

Ditto what Willa said.  I have about 20 print books, 150+ ebooks and a huge wishlist on here and at Goodreads.  I'll never read them all!

Too low...?  I wish that was my problem , I have waay too many books on my TBR.

I need to stop ordering books. I get such great suggestions here that I order them all..and then no where to put them.

Yes, but since I got my nook, that hasn't been a problem.

My TBR is down to 140 and that's the lowest it's been at this time of year (We have our annual library book sale in September and my TBR is usually around 150 by then and then it swells up again). I can't imagine having a TBR of only 10 - that's too low for me. I like having alot of different type of books in my TBR cause I never know what I may be in the mood for.  My goal is to get my TBR to under 100 by September. I actually may make it this year - I've been trying to be good with buying books and have gotten just a few of my wish list books from here.

Claudia, you have WAY more self control than I do.  My TBR fills a room these days, so it's unlikely I'll have trouble with it being too low ;)
