Is delivery confirmation purchased at an APC station less likely to be scanned than DC purchased online or at the post office counter? I have a package I mailed out late on Monday, priority rate, it should have been delivered Wednesday, Thursday at the latest (it was only going from NY to GA) and it hasn't even had a scan yet much less been delivered! I am a little worried about it as I dropped it in an after hours drop box at a post office other than my home one...

DC purchased from an APC is treated the same as eDC dropped in a blue box. DC purchased at the counter is more likely to be scanned because they do it while you're buying it.

If you dropped it off after hours, it didn't get collected until Tuesday morning, so a Thursday or Friday delivery is more realistic... but it does seem a little unusual that it has no scans yet. If they don't get it by Monday, I would contact USPS.

Well the package got delivered on Tuesday. Almost exactly one week. And it NEVER got scanned - not even at time of delivery. Weird. Since it was postally purchased DC rather than printed DC, I'm really wondering if the DC ticket fell off the package.

if you bought it at the APC, the DC label should have been on the same sticker as the postage.
