This is where we post things we would like,(except money request or books by name). Please remember that we do not offer money for items we wish for because PBS frowns upon that. It also lessens the spirit of this thread and the forum. If you receive, try to give. Sometimes the littlest things can bring a smile.

Note: If I write to you about something you have requested, it is only to inform you that the request is not what this thread is about. If you wish to leave your request in this thread, that is up to you.

First: Remember: this is the place to wish. We all have wishes. If you feel someone has asked for something too large, expensive or extravagant, just ignore. Please be kind. Don't make someone feel badly. None of us know someone else's circumstances, unless we ask...........................For those of us asking, let's remember this is NOT a place to stock pantries, get all our presents for others, etc. It's a place for members to wish for items for themselves and immediate family. Also, PBS rules do not allow one to ask for money, even for charities, here. You may ask for other items, such as stamps and boxtops, etc.

Here, you list a few things you like/collect/can use. Obviously, we all like certain things like credits, wish-list books, etc. This is NOT for that kind of thing. This is for things others might have around the house that you can use (for instance if you collect postcards, bookmarks, Coke codes, or if there's a candy you love you can't find in your area, etc). ** Please remember that books, by title or genre, should not be requested in this forum(I Wish thread). There may be other places for that. If someone sends you a book, please receive it and thank the member sending it.

Please limit your list to about 10 items (Remember, you can edit your list), and if someone PMs you for your address, please acknowledge and thank them when you receive whatever they send you. There is a separate thank you thread so we can keep this one clean and easy to read. It can get jumbled and hard to read with extra clutter so if we can do our best to keep it to our requests and the rare bump, that would be awesome :) It's important to thank everyone who send something either by PM and or the thank you thread so that we know the item arrived. Members do not want to send things, continously, to others who do not let them know the items have arrived.

I am wishing for a new car and the winning Mega Millions ticket and a knight in shining armor... HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S :D

Here is my real Wish List:

- Anything cross stitching related, but especially patterns (any kind of patterns as I want to start cross-stitching for the online charity LoveQuilts and a wide variety of themes are requested to be stitched)

Bandanas, as they are the only means of controlling my hair. Any colors and patterns are welcome, but I especially like blues and greens

- Fantasy Artwork, especially featuring dragons, faeries, centaurs, phoenix, sphinx; but anything fantasy related would be awesome (poster, postcard, sticker, old calendar, anything like that)

- Anything Doctor Who or Digimon related

- A DVD of the Spanish romance film 'Like Water For Chocolate'

I have a wish for a costume piece. I know it's a long shot but I figured I might as well ask.

- Gas mask. The kind that sticks out from your face like a Halloween mask with a huge nozzle and two goggles for the eyes (similar to this: http://fav.me/d2stb1r ). If not exactly that, I'd take something close to it.

Like I said, I know it's long shot but I figured I should just put it out there in the world :)

Thanks for reading my wish list! Happy April, everyone!

Eddie.....what color blue are you using for your wedding - baby blue, royal blue, navy, etc?

I am making 12 silk flower arrangements for the cemetery this month.  I might have some blue flowers left over, maybe some white ones, too.  I might have leftover ribbon, as well.  PM me your name/address before the end of the month and I'll let you know what I end up with.  The cemetery decoration day is not until the 28th, however.  When's your wedding?

I am a mentor for the local teen mom program at the high school, and I have a new girl.  (My last one is pretty much all grown up now, in her second year of college.)

She is 16 and believe it or not, a straight A student.  Not just for the six weeks, mind you, but straight A's all year.  You'd think she was too smart to be 4 months pregnant, wouldn't you?

Anyway, she is tiny - size 5 at most - and short (under 5 ft), but she has a 36 D chest.   I need maternity clothes for her, if anyone has any they'd like to donate, please PM me.   Jeans and shorts would be perfect, and tee-shirt type tops.  I've checked all the local resale shops and 3 Goodwill stores, but they only had very matronly stuff, worn out things, or larger sizes.

Her mom is not supportive at all and she is basically couch surfing right now, but she always manages to get to school.  She's in the 11th grade.

Much to my dear youthful husband's dismay, he is turning 60 on April 13th (Friday the 13th :-).   I know it would bring him a smile to receive some unexpected birthday cards.  He's a professional musician and has worked very hard to support our family solely with music for 42 years - playing only local events in order to be here every day for our autistic son.  He's truly an amazing man.

If you're able to send him a birthday card please pm me for the address.

Thanks so much and Happy Springtime to everyone!

My husband and I are celebrating our first wedding anniversary on April 22nd.

I would love to be able to shower him with anniversary cards from everywhere.

If you would please help me with this, by sending a card,  I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.

Remember -

These members collect expired coupons  to send to military bases.   Coupons should be no more than 3 months past date, please.  Just PM them for their address and send a bunch when you can.  Much easier than posting here and waiting for someone to request them.   This is a great help to our military families.  (Only regular coupons, not those  for specific stores, please.)

Kimberly M. (nescioquis)  - please note, Kim is no longer accepting coupons, thanks

Lisa D. (tommygirl)

Thanks to Kim, Lisa and Cassie and Jessica for their efforts.   If anyone else is doing this, please PM and we will add you to the list.
