Hi

I recall reading somewhere that there was a place to list if we have ARC's should there be members who are interested in reading them.

I recently received over 500 books that are all ARC's and Uncorrected Proofs to start a small library for my ESOL program at work, however, upon review of these titles I realize that the bulk of them are far too advanced for my beginning readers and now I have stacks and stacks of books!  I promised the donor that I would not attempt to sell these but I do need to move them and share this wonderful abundance.

Please share with me the best forum for this...

laugh
Thanks!!!

Scroll down to the Book Bazaar forum and look for the ARC thread.

The genre forums usually have a thread about wish listed books.  You do need to be up front that they are ARCs.  I use the "Mail a Book to a Friend" option rather than posting the book.

There is also a thread in the Book Bazaar.  It is a monthly thread.  April's

There is also a Damaged Books Virtual Box in the games forum.  People trade "unpostable" books with eachother.

Oh please, please do post them in the Book Bazaar! I would happily spend a credit on just about anything if it is on my wish list even if it is an ARC!

Yup, definitely check the book bazaar, and also maybe the genre forums as well.  When I list my ARCs I will cross post them both in the BB and genre forums, and usually get quite a few hits that way.

Nicki, you might also post a listing of the ARCs in your profile and include a note both in your forums signature (like I have) and in the public header on your bookshelf, so that folks ordering other things from you will know you have those available.

Thanks - all great advice - but how do I post an excel file with 400 titles?  Also, I did not think to add the ISBN numbers when I was compiling the list (I wasn't thinking about PBS as I did so) - is this an issue?  I can certainly check the ISBN's of individual titles that people express an interest in.  Thoughts?
