I received a book recently and marked it as received with no problem before I noticed it was an ARC. What should I do now? Since I can't swap it when I'm done reading it, I really don't want to be out a credit.

TIA

Unfortunately, once the book is marked received, there's not much you can do.  You could try sending a PM to the sender to let them know they sent you a book that was unpostable and ask them to buddy you a credit.  Don't know how successful you'll be, but it's worth a shot.

Also, you could post it in the book bazaar's thread and ask for a credit for it--if it's a heavily wishlisted book, someone could well want it.

Once it's marked received, I would consider it my mistake and be done with it. Depending on how recently you mean (a day or two) I might PM the sender, if for no other reason than to educate them that ARCs are not postable, and ask if they would mind refunding the credit. Anything more than a couple of days and I would not request the credit.

Thanks - that's what I was afraid of. I've got plenty of credits, so it's not a huge deal.
