Lots of fun! this continues the saga of a new world created after a cataclysm in the United States. The characters are interesting, the description of this new world is so interesting, and the relationships are sympathetic. A little far-fetched as to the cause of the cataclysm, but hey, it's a fantasy book.

Really like this series more and more as I read each book. The relationship between Quent and Zoe seems more real than the relationships in the prior two books. Maybe because they have been "together" since the first book. In this book we get to see how the strangers or the elite (as they refer to themselves) live in this new world. Read this series in order for each new book gives you insight into what happened since the year of the "change".

Omg, how does this series just keep getting better! The romance in this one was super! I just love a kick-ass woman that can still be so feminine. Ware has yet another winner in this series. I again managed to read this book in less than a day although it'll be 6 more months before I get another taste of new Las Vegas, aka NV, aka Envy. Ware is amazing as always with her descriptions and great action scenes. Once you start this book, you won't lay it down. In this book we get a much more detailed look at the Strangers and a few of the what's and why's are answered, although, there's still a lot of storyline yet to come. This is paranormal romance mixed with urban fantasy for a trip to the future that will keep you enthralled for hours.

I really enjoy this series and it just keeps getting better. The premise is diffent from any other post-apocalypse world. This book gives us lots more information on where Zoe came from and why she is out for revenge against Raul. And her on-going affair with Quent is resolved very satisfactorily. Quent finally goes after his father, one of the Immortal Strangers who call themselves the Elite. Their name gives you a clue to their mind set. The connection to Atlantis is fascinating as is the reason for the "Evolution". Zoe and Quent team up for lots of action and adventure.

With wonderful female characters such as Remy and Marley and interesting males such as Fence, there are so many potential stories it's going to be hard waiting for the next book.
