This is Book 1 of 3 in the Abduction/Seduction Trilogy and a delghtful intro it is. I'm now starting Book 2: "A Belated Bride" and hope to finish the trio with Book 3: "The Seduction of Sara". Good reading!

Pretty good. Alec and Julia are fairly well flushed-out and interesting characters. The plot flows along well but the highs and lows are not particularly high or low. I'm not sure if that is good or bad but it wasn't a terribly emotional story. I liked them, rooted for them, rooted against the bad guys, but it wasn't very dramatic. Karen Hawkins did establish the foundation for a series and the side characters were also interesting and I look forward to reading about then in the future.

The sensuality in the book was OK, not very hot but not completely glossed over. The historical accuracy - hard to tell because there weren't too many details in the book. There are a few situations and a few pieces of dialogue that seem unlikely for the time but those can be forgiven for a good story.

Overall a B for story, B- for sensuality (if you can grade sexiness), and B for overall writing style. I'll read this author again. I wasn't bowled over but I liked it enough to stay up late to finish.

Liked the switch and the fun that came with it. A fun story and interesting characters. Storyline was well done and moved along very well. A fun read.
