I got a request for a book and the Requestor's conditions state : only audiobooks that are UNABRIDGED. I don't understand what this means. This is just a paperback craft book.Doesn't even come as an audiobook to my knowledge. Can someone please help me out ? Thank you ! |

Have you PM'd the requestor? Maybe this condition is for the times audio books are ordered. |

Hi Donna, I'm betting that this requester condition only applies to audiobooks. If they ordered a craft book intentionally, then they probably realize that it is a paperbook and not an audiobook. I would accept the requester condition and mail the book. |

What Mary said. And if you really don't understand what unabridged means (as I'm discovering many people don't) it's the full book with nothing taken out. Abridged books (sometimes kids book version of classics and sometimes audio books) are shortened versions of the original book. Last Edited on: 3/1/14 1:58 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

I think Mary got it. The requestor probably means that IF they are requesting an Audio Book they don't want any Unabridged editions. We see this type of under-communication with hardbacks a lot. Some peoples RCs say "Hardbacks with Dust Covers only" meaning only that if they request a hardback it must have a dust cover. Not realizing it this can cause confusion if they have requested a paperback. |
