I do not understand this. I thought a frend could give you a book that was on your wishlist. A book appeared on my wishlist that I would never read. I removed it . Will it come up a me requesting it and I have to refuse ot or what// That seems to be a pain if that is the case. |

You're the only one who can put a book on your Wish List, unless someone else has access to your computer and membership.
If you mean that it's been offered to you - you can cancel the order, unless the person already printed postage or sent the book. |

Bryynne's correct that nobody else can add a book to your wish list -- unless someone in your home has logged into your account. A book won't be offered to you if it wasn't on your WL to begin with, but it won't show on your WL while it is being offered to you because it's been moved from your WL to your main My Account page. It's okay to cancel the transaction if you don't want the book. If you're wondering about a particular book, you can send in Feedback asking them when it was added to your Wish List. They have the records, and can help you figure out what happened. (I wouldn't be surprised if getting a response takes a few extra days -- it's a small Admin Team, and I imagine they are pretty busy fielding questions about the new membership structure and doing other things necessary to have things all ready to go.) |
