so I have a book that has been declared "lost" by PBS from Aug. Since I'm at an APO I didn't worry too much. Somehow between when it was marked as lost/into transaction archeives and now it came off hold on my WL. Now I checked when it went lost that it was on hold because another WL book is "lost" but still on hold. Had a totally of 3 actually.

so today I get a WL granted email for this book. should I accept it? put not now or decline? what happens if I put not now or decline? TYIA!

Kristina, I am pretty sure if you put "not now" it goes on hold and you stay first in line until you take it off hold. If you decline you are telling them you don't want it and you are removed from the hold list. Sorry so many books have been lost on the way to you. Very frustrating.

Depending on your credit situation;  I would accept it, then if you end up getting both of them, you could repost one and eventually get the credit back since its a WL book.

thanks for the answers. maybe I'll just put "not now", since it keeps me at #1 but on hold.

I leave in February and wonder if I should stop requesting books now!!

Yes, it's fairly new.  When you are offered a wishlisted book, it's now one of the options...yes, no, or 'not now'

If you choose the Not Now option, it stays on your wishlist but is placed on hold (and you retain your WL postion).  This option can only be used one time per book.
