This book was my constant companion when I lived in San Diego (just a year ago -- don't worry, the book is current!). Whatever neighborhood I found myself in, wherever I decided to visit, I could count on finding great recommendations for restaurants, shops, sights, etc. I found many of my favorite hole-in-the-wall places using this guide!
I am planning a trip to San Diego in a few weeks. Although I have other guide books, this one seems very comprehensive.I particularly like the detailed maps.It is also a very handy size for carrying around.
