I printed out the address and confirmation for the book.  I  was writing a copy of the address to put inside the wrapping when I noticed something was off, name was the same name as one prepared earlier.  Looked at it and realized that I had accidently printed off the label for the wrong book.

Had to go and print out the correct address label and confirmation.  Am wondering, what do I do where I accidently printed out two for one book.  I don't think I can get the money back for the DC, that is not really a problem, 27 cents, no big deal.  But will it create a problem in the system; will PBS think I had two books that I was sending out and didn't delivered one of them?

You can print up the wrapper as many times as you wish. You will only be charged the once.

PBS postage has a default that you can reprint wrappers with the same DC.  Just in case we mess up.   The two wrappers should have one DC number.

If the label you printed the first time before noticing the error was "reprinted" and you had already paid for a Delivery Confiirmation fee then you wouldn't be charged again.

But the fee would be charged on the new address label for your second book. It is good you noticed what you did.

I had something similar happen a few months ago when I noticed I had two books going to the same city. When I double checked, I realized I printed a label for the same book twice. I was glad I figured out my mistake before I mailed the books.

The only time it would charge you again is if you printed out just DC. THen when back and decided you wanted to use the printed postage as well. It would give you a new DC # and recharge the printing fee. I did that once thinking it would just reuse the same DC # but add the postage. Nope, it re-did the DC and I had to pay another printing fee. I only had to pay  the .19 DC fee to the PO once because I didn't use the 1st one.

Glad to know that, knowing me, I will do this a couple, or more, LOL times.  Clutzy and easily distracted
