Just wondering who all has pre-ordered Sherrilyn Kenyon's Acheron?   I will admitt mine was Pre-Ordered the day i was able too. The wait has been sheer hell. I can't wait for Ash's book! I was 280 on the wait list... Nope no way was I going to wait that long and have probably half the people keep there copy, which is what I would have done also.   I can't wait that long, the wait until August is enough! lol

No, I haven't pre-ordered.  I just plan to head to the store on the release date and buy it.  There was no sense in even putting it on my wish list.  I knew I couldn't wait and had to have it as soon as I could.

I have also pre-ordered Acheron.  Is it only coming in hardback first?  I will definitly keep mine and I can't wait to read it.  I wonder if his mate is going to be Artemis?  Any thoughts?

I know it's not Artemis because Sherri has said in her blogs and group posts that the his Heroine's name will starte with a K....  thats all I know

I'm going to pre-order it from Amazon right now, but will probably stop at the store and buy a copy of it since I can't wait. 

I have to catch up with the series this month.  I'm behind on one dark hunter book and 2 dream hunter books. 

I had pre-ordered it from my book club, but cancelled it.  It takes so long for the mail that I decided to get it from the book store when it is released.  I know they will have it 08-05-08!!!!  I think that if you pre-order, it won't be sent until that date.  At least that has been my experience.  Even with Overstock-----------I saw it our local K-Mart before it was even sent.

I preordered at walmart.com for about $11 or $12 something.   I am pretty impatient with the WL if I'm in any spot higher than 30 or so and tend to just buy the book rather than wait.   I knew this one would have a gianormous number of wishers and I wanted a keeper in good condition.  

Now that I know Acheron is taken care of, I need to know how my Nick is:lol:

Yeah, that is one book I absolutely refuse to wait for... plus I had a Barns and Noble gift card from my birthday so I didn't even spend my own money on it! Happy Birthday to me!!! lol

It is suppose to be Stryker's story.  I guess that means he is going to the good side.  I'm not sure.  You can go to her website and it tells you what the book is about.

Yeah I have mixed feelings about Stryker's book. But Sherri did say in a blog that it is not something we will expect. The woman playes with our minds! lol

Got it coming from Barnes & Noble for $11 after coupons and discounts. Sad part is that I've only read the first 3 books so far so it is going to be a few weeks until I get to it. Just couldn't pass it up for that price

I'm waiting for B&N to release it to the mail carriers. Then I'll have to wait 3 days.

Two of my friends got Acheron on Saturday at their local commissary store.  Both obviously are in the military..I was so jealous.

They got lucky.

The military release dates are not any different from anybody else. We are told to tripple check the dates on anything since big brother is watching us too and the penalties are stiff.

Ahhh....maybe my girlies shouldn't be spreading the word that they got a copy earlier than they were suppose too!  Good to know!

I got my copy!  I'm starting it tonight. 

just checked the tracker, it went from Sparks Navada to Louisville Kentucky in one night, I'm in mid michigan... think I'll see it tomorrow?   *praying to the mail god*  lol

My BFF bought it this morning.  She was at Barnes & Noble when it opened and they didn't know anything about it!  She had to tell the store manager, who FINALLY, unpacked it for her.

She's about halfway done now.  She'll finish it tomorrow and then mail it to me so I should have early next week.

When I bought the last Anita Blake novel, I had to make Borders go into the back and unpack the boxes! I was not leaving without a copy!!  I got extremely lucky and got Acheron from my library today.  They got it in yesterday but did not put it into the system until today.  So I was happy I did not have to spend any money BUT I won't have it to swap on here :(

My BFF just mailed it to me.  She won't give me ANY deets (including heroine's name) but she told me it was AWESOME.
