I'm looking for books for schools in several  high-poverty areas of the US.

I'd appreciate receiving an offer of a deal for any of these Magic Tree House books :

(List updated on 2/3)

Christmas in Camelot
Haunted Castle on Hallows Eve
Summer of the Sea Serpent
Winter of the Ice Wizard
Afternoon on the Amazon
Sunset of the Sabertooth
Midnight on the Moon
Revolutionary War on Wednesday
Stage Fright on a Summer Night
Good Morning, Gorillas
Thanksgiving on Thursday
High Tide in Hawaii

I recently received this email from a teacher in Camden, NJ and thought I'd share it here:

Dear Barbara,

We just got the box full of books on Friday. Wow! So many awesome books! My students LOVED the Magic Tree House books and are reading them during free reading time. We can now finally do a science project using the animal books for research. The puppets brought a whole new meaning to our literacy center. My students love acting out all the Froggy series books using the puppets and this helps in strengthening their reading comprehension skills. Once again, thank you and all who helped you send the books for our class.

Mrs. S (and class)

Unfortunately I don't have any of the magic school bus books you are searching for but I do have a bunch of "unpostable" (well loved but still readable) children's books if you may be interested. Let me know. No worries either way.

PM me if interested - I don't look in the forums too often

Cheers,

Lexi

Hi Barbara,

I don't have any MTH books right now, but I will keep an eye out for these and let you know if I find some.

You are also welcome to a deal on any of the kids books on my shelf at the moment.  :)
