I didn't realize when I ordered this book that it was published back in 1989, when most of this boundary stuff was first coming out. In fact, I probably read it back then. It's not a bad book. It's just that it gave me absolutely no information that I didn't already know. So, I didn't like it. I am 51 and have been working with this kind of stuff for years. If you are a younger person or are an older person just starting out on your quest for an addictive free life, it may well be the book for you.

Excellent descriptions on various characteristics of destructive relationships: Tunnel vision, propertyism, externalizaton, hope/fantasy distortion, power plays, regression, mind-reading, caretaking, etc.
