This is my favorite so far. Aden was betrayed as a child then sold as a sex slave. Everyone he trusted betrayed him so he is cold when it comes to relationships. He usually spends only one night with any woman. After meeting Sid, he surprises himself and his vampire soldiers when Sid returns for more nights. His gradual trusting and warming to Sid is very believable. Sid is independent, but realizes Aden needs her to depend on him at least somewhat. Nice hot romance with danger and action. Liked the ending.
