I have two swaps with two different members. One I sent out and the other is on its way. The one I sent out with 2 other books to separate members. The other two have gotten their books, but the last one hasn't been marked received. i have never had a book take this long to be received, so I sent a pm to make sure everything was OK. I haven't gotten any response  back and it has been over a week. The deadline is approaching. What is the procedure for this.

The other book was marked mailed to me, but it has not shown up yet. The deadline for this book is also fast approaching. Does PBS give credits back for books not received, and do I get my place back in line for my WL book? Again, I have several swaps since I have been here, but I have never had one take this long to get here. They usually arrive fairly quickly

For #1, the procedure is to wait for the deadline. That's the date that says "please do not contact us before xx/xx/xxxx" on the transaction. Once that day comes, if the other member hasn't responded to your PM and the book hasn't been marked received, then you can use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the screen to ask the PBS Team to investigate the situation. Make sure to tell them that you did PM the other member and it's been more than a week with no response.

For #2, yes, you will get your credit back and your place in the WL line if the book does not arrive. You might want to check and see where it's coming from. If it's coming from an APO or HI or AK, then as soon as the book is declared lost, go to your wish list and put your wish on hold. That will keep your place in line while you wait a little longer to see if the book does show up.

not meaning to sound snarky........... but please dont send out pm's before a book had even hit its deadline.  If you are really needing a credit, use PBS DC.

And before you contact TPTB you need to once the book has been declared lost send a message to the person and it is 7 days from then.  The book isn't lost yet, they are not required to respond as it is not yet a "problem swap"

Also, please keep in mind that folks in the south and midwest have suffered awful weather related damage recently.  I can assure that as one of those, getting my mail (luckily I still have a mail receptacle) has not been high on my list.
