A friend from church gives me a lot of newly-published books from Crossings Book Club.  When I try to list them, the ISBNs don't show up in the data base.  Most of them are on many wish lists but apparently with different ISBNs.  I understand that these are smaller books and some people may not want them but I'm wondering why the ISBNs are almost never available.

Sometimes it takes a while (few hours or a day) for new ISBN's to show up in the PBS database.  If these books have unique ISBN's then you should be able to post them.  Try doing a search for the ISBN in the advanced book search, it should show up at some point. And if they are the same book, just different edition as books on WL I think you may be able offer them in the book bazaar in the 'is this on your WL' discussion thread.  Most times books on WL are there because people are lookiing for specific bindings or large print, etc.,but if the book is a new version, they may want it but didn't know it was available.

Book club versions sometimes have a separate ISBN.  I will post them under their ISBN, then put a tag under the heavy WL version.  Something like "Also under ISBN xxxx".   They disappear quickly when I do that.

Book clubs also tend to reuse ISBNs-like using the MMP ISBN for a hardcover or recycling ISBNs from older books.

If you have to you can post them without ISBNs and then list them in the WL threads in teh book bazaar or genre forums.

Since you are asking about Crossings Book editions, I suggest you go to the Christian Recommdations and mention them there.  Many of us on that forum are looking for Christian books and some of us don't mind Crossing books.  Just a suggestion
