Reading along, liking the story, wondering where it is going, then bang - an unexpected twist for me, who doesn't always read the back of the book which sometimes has spoiler info...

My Ishmael was a read that left me satisfied with the story and thinking long afterwards, still has me thinking. I doubt this one will have the same impact.
