This book is a good way to get in touch with those often-troubling memories of childhood that we carry around with us. The "what if's" and "if only's". Jane is an awesome woman that I've met personally and I've found all of her books to be very therapeutic in helping me to move on with my life and let go of my childhood pain.

From backcover:
In After the Tears, Jane and Lorie touch and teach at the same time. Their warmth and understanding of adult children is obvious. Thier guidance for helping ACoAs work through grief, loss and depression dictates the relevancy of this book for any and all adult children who want to know if there's life after alchoholism in their family.
