This book rates in my top ten reads of all time. I love Irving Stone and have read several of his books. I also recommend "Immortal Wife" based on the life of Jessie Benton Fremont. Yes, this book is a bit lengthy and yes, it does drag a bit in a few spots, but it is definitely worth your time to read about the fascinating yet arduous life of Michelangelo. Next on the list for me, "Lust for Life" based on the life of Vincent van Gogh. Happy reading!
