I just learned that PBS doesn't allow you to order 2 copies of the same book at the same time.  I'm not really sure what the point of that rule is, especially for books where there are lots of copies waiting for new owners.  Anyway, I am in need of 2 copies of The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho.  I've requested one, but I can't request the second one until I receive the first one.

Does anyone have a copy of this book on their bookshelf that they'd like to get rid of?  I assume there are no rules against dealing directly with other members?

I'd also love to hear any input on this book from those who have read it.  My book club just selected it for our June meeting.
