A satire. While touring a college campus, Alix attends an assembly and is bored to sleep by the dean's windy ramblings. She wakes to find herself in a Wonderland-like world, where an assortment of academic caricatures lament about the hazards of university politics. As Alix struggles to understand the complexities of campus life in a world that is progressively "curiouser and curiouser", she grows more confident, more self-assured, and ultimately decides to create her own major.
