I have 11 Love Hina books to get rid of, 7 of which are unpostable. Is it OK to offer 7 of them free if someone gives me a credit for each of the 4 postable ones? And can I advertise in the manga forums or only the book bazaar?

Yes, it is ok and i would say why no advertise in both forums.

Actually, adverrtising is limited to the Bazaar unless there is a thread set to in the genre threads. Individual advertising posts should not be set up in the forums anywhere but the bazaar. You can offer any deal you'd like as long as you don't ask for more than 1 credit per book.

I think all the forums now have a read sticky Deals thread. So you could put it in there if there's no ongoing deal thread.

You can always use your signature line to "advertise" and it will be seen every time you post on a forum.  I've had great luck with doing that.
